A set of new businesses and traders have been announced for Bradford city centre's Darley Street Market.
The Darley Street Market is set to open in July, and now a set of new eateries have been announced for the Darley Street Kitchen. This includes local Bradford business Sushi Hometown, which will serve fresh sushi and sashimi, along with dishes like ramen, yakisoba noodles and bao buns.
In addition, it will be serving Nepali food such as Thukpa noodles and Momo dumplings.

Budhi from Sushi Hometown, said: "Really excited and happy to be one of the traders in Darley Street Market. This is my first time trading in a market, and we are going to do a bento style, bringing healthy and steamed food. Japanese and Nepalese cuisine authentic street food, with combination of sushi, hot food like ramen and katsu curry. And Nepalese street food like dumplings and chow mien style of stir fry noodles as well."
Alongside Sushi Hometown, Eat Like a Greek will also be joining the market. This business, based in Hertfordshire, is a festival food truck company.
They will be serving gyros pitta wraps with homemade tzatziki, fresh salad and a choice of lamb, pork, chicken, halloumi or falafel. George from Eat Like A Greek said: “We’re really excited to be coming to Darley Street Market to serve our authentic Greek street food.
"There is going to be a lot going on in Bradford and we’re excited to be part of its regeneration. We’re looking forward to sourcing our ingredients from the floor below and also working with other traders at the market."

Alongside the new eateries, a number of other new businesses have been announced. A&J Shoe Repair and Ann's Haberdashery will be taking a space in the Lifestyle Hall after moving from the Oastler Market. Dale Farm Foods, famous for their award-winning pork pies and cooked meats like ham, topside of beef, roast turkey, roast pork, prime bacon and sausages, will also be moving from the Oastler Market.
Councillor Alex Ross-Shaw, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Regeneration, Planning and Transport, said: "We are bringing together a fabulous range of businesses together at Darley Street Market. We’ve the best in street food in our Darley Street Kitchen, useful goods and services in the Lifestyle Hall, as well as excellent produce in the Fresh Food Hall.
"Our traders offer something special for everyone. Excitement is building with every new announcement, and we can’t wait start welcoming people through the doors when we open.
"We’ve a packed weekend of events on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July to celebrate our opening."
