Ex-US Fighter Pilot Reports Encountering a Mysterious Rectangular UFO at 30,000 Feet

A top fighter pilot has told how he encountered a rectangular UFO at 30,000ft. Major Ryan Bodenheimer says the weird object flew alongside his F15 jet at 400 knots . The former member of the US Air Force Thunderbirds display team thought he was on a collision course after he spotted it in the distance over Wyoming before it then approached his aircraft and kept pace with it.

Bodenheimer, now an aviation YouTuber, described it as a “perfect rectangle shape… maybe 30 to 50ft high”.

The object was “bright white” around the edges, cream-coloured in the middle with a clear centre and he ruled out it being a weather balloon, plane or drone.

He said: "This was the wildest experience I’ve ever had.”

He added: “There’s no wings on this thing, no exhaust. The edges were so bright they were pulsing. Aerodynamically, this thing shouldn’t be going at close to 400 knots. For a rectangle to be flying through the air was a wild experience.”

He said the “stigma” around UFOs had put off fellow pilots from coming forward with similar reports but added: “Over the last few years I feel like that stigma has been removed.”

US Navy pilots have previously reported spotting clear cube-shaped UFOs surrounded by clear spheres while on training exercises off the East Coast of America.

Others have come forward to detail encounters with large objects shaped like giant Tic Tac sweets with no visible wings or means of propulsion but able to outperform the most advanced aircraft on the planet.

Last week, a report in the Wall Street Journal claimed UFO stories had been used by the Pentagon to cover up secret military technology development projects.

It comes after the Daily Star reported thattThe US military has been accused of carrying out a cover-up by spreading bogus information to make people think weapon tests were aliens .

Pentagon chiefs reportedly deliberately fuelled conspiracy theories about UFOs to disguise what was really going on at Area 51 during the Cold War. The disinformation campaign involved dishing out fake photos of flying saucers in a nearby bar.

This led locals to believe that the Nevada military base was testing alien technology which had been recovered. But it was actually being used to try out its secret stealth aircraft which it was hoped could infiltrate the Soviet Union’s air defences.

Military officials hoped residents would believe the F-117 jets came from outer space instead of Earth, according to US reports. The cover-up involved a US Air Force colonel visiting a nearby boozer in the 1980s to hand out doctored pictures of UFOs.
