CLIMATE MATTERS
Many issues plaguing our modern society stem from human actions or those acting on behalf of humanity. While we concentrate on the hostile stance of the leader to the south and remain inundated with constant reports about ongoing wars and disputes, the worldwide issue of "global warming" persists largely unnoticed. Recently though, extreme weather events have garnered public interest due to their destructive impacts. With seasonal transitions, variations in temperatures and stronger gusts of wind during shifting climates are typical occurrences. Nonetheless, such atmospheric shifts appear to be increasingly severe lately, potentially linked to climate change. This warrants our consideration, particularly concerning future generations like children and grandchildren. Elderly individuals advocate for further drilling while declaring 'drill baby drill,' yet they will not witness scenarios where temperatures soar up to 50°C within mere hours.

The weather variations we are observing appear similar to those in the past. The Liberal Party’s carbon tax did not contribute at all to tackling climate change.
LIBERAL CIRCUS
Regarding "Carney confirms Liberals won't proceed with planned capital gains tax change" (The Canadian Press, March 21): A spectacle is heading our way, led by the new ringmaster without a political party – former Prime Minister Mark Carney. According to him, expect more Liberal elixirs for sale, promising these solutions will heal everything wrong in this nation following ten years under Trudeau's leadership. But he won’t perform solo; he'll bring along an entourage of clueless cabinet members and supportive journalists promoting acts designed to increase your taxes and diminish your quality of life. Every show has its soothsayer announcing sunny prospects ahead. It wouldn’t surprise anyone if those forecasters had imbibed some of Carney’s magic potion themselves!

Canadians might finally recognize the Liberal Party's deception over the past decade and cast their votes accordingly for new leadership.
