Inspiring Voices Echo Through the Dignity Health Arena

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — In 2025, Hoffmann Hospice will mark three decades of service, and last Thursday evening, they welcomed some notable personalities to celebrate this milestone.

The annual Voices of Inspiration gala hosted by Hoffmann took place at the downtown Bakersfield Convention Center on March 27. The highlight of the event was an inspiring speech from Dale Earnhardt, Jr., a third-generation NASCAR driver who retired in 2017. He was invited as the keynote speaker for the night.

After an outstanding career spanning 18 seasons, Earnhardt Jr. decided to retire from racing.

The cross country mentor at Del Oro High School creates a victorious environment for his squad.

The cameras weren't permitted into the venue to capture Earnhardt’s motivational speech, yet Beth Hoffmann indicates it's clear whyEarnhardt Jr. was an ideal choice for this occasion.

We're a NASCAR community, which made things pretty straightforward. I read his book and it was amazing," stated Hoffman. "This guy is someone who overcomes challenges; he's dedicated to achieving his objectives. His mother received hospice care, yet despite this, he was elected as the driver with the friendliest demeanor about fifteen times.

17's Jim Scott acted as the emcee for the occasion.
